Get Involved

There are so many ways to get involved with this incredible event.

Today, more than 2,500 volunteers work around the calendar to produce an event that includes parades, pancake breakfasts, world-class concerts, chili and chuckwagon cook-offs, carnival, exhibits, Indian Village, military open houses and performances by the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, and of course the event that started it all nine Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) rodeos.

Learn More about Volunteering

Cheyenne Frontier Days is a small community in and of itself for the better part of the month of July, and, complimented by a full-time staff of 15, the “community” works because of the volunteers who won’t let it be anything but the best.

National Anthem Singers

Cheyenne Frontier Days™ seeks performers of the National Anthem every day prior to the rodeo throughout the Daddy of ’em All® including during the Opening Day Celebration on the first Friday. Next year’s Cheyenne Frontier Days™ takes place July 17-26, 2020.

Selected performers sing the first verse of our National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner,” a cappella in the center of the rodeo arena at Frontier Park. Because of the magnitude of Cheyenne Frontier Days™ as the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and the overall decorum of our pre-rodeo entertainment, the National Anthem should be performed in a conservative, traditional manner with little or no inflections or deviations.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply. National Anthem singers receive complimentary parking for one passenger vehicle, gate access onto the rodeo grounds and rodeo seating for a maximum of six persons on the date of their performance. Cheyenne Frontier Days™ is unable to provide airline or ground transportation, hotel accommodations, or concert/night show/evening entertainment tickets for National Anthem singers. Cheyenne Frontier Days™ also is unable to provide complimentary parking, gate access or rodeo tickets to National Anthem singers on dates other than their performance date.

Please email your interest and a link to a sample performance to national.anthem@cfdrodeo.com
